Taylor Swift is the American Music Award’s Artist of the Decade

Taylor Swift will be awarded the Artist of the Decade trophy at the American Music Awards Nov. 24. Swift leads all female artists in history and all artists this decade with 23 AMAs. She is nominated this year for Artist of the Year, Favorite Music Video, Favorite Pop/Rock Female Artist, Favorite Pop/Rock Album for “Lover” and Favorite Adult Contemporary Artist.

Country singer Ned LeDoux loses daughter in choking accident

Country singer Ned LeDoux announced that his 2-year-old daughter Haven passed away Oct. 20 in a choking accident. The family had just celebrated Haven’s second birthday on Sept. 15. Ned and his wife Morgan have been married for 11 years and also have a 9-year-old son named Branson.

Alex Trebek releases video for world pancreatic cancer day

Alex Trebek, host of “Jeopardy!”, appeared in a public service announcement video Wednesday to raise awareness about pancreatic cancer. In March, he broke the news to fans that he had been diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer. In the video Trebek listed the symptoms of pancreatic cancer and urged viewers to spread awareness for it on world pancreatic cancer day Nov. 21.
