Liberty University has high expectations for largest student body

Liberty University welcomed its largest freshman class and residential student body in school history. Campus pastor David Nasser reflected on the past blessings the school has received and expressed anticipation of great things this year. He specifically commended the Convocation lineup and the changes made within the football program.

Willis to redshirt first season with the Flames

Auburn transfer Malik Willis will not play at quarterback for the Flames this season after being denied immediate eligibility by the NCAA. He will be eligible for the next two seasons. Johnathan Bennett will be backup for starting quarterback Buckshot Calvert at Saturday’s home opener.

Campus battles for world record

Liberty University students attempted to break the world record for the largest pillow fight. Their shot at the 2018 record of 7,600 people was unsuccessful but still enjoyed by participants. The pillows used in the fight were a gift from MyPillow founder Mike Lindell during his visit to Convocation.
